Use the power of meditations not just to de-stress but to heal your body and your relationships too. Meditations, if done properly, can work wonders for you and even manifest the life that you so desire.

Guided Meditations

When beginners find it difficult to meditate, either falling asleep during the practice or becoming unfocussed, then guided meditations can be very helpful. A guide keeps one on track, often snapping one back to attention and helps one relax and achieve an attentive, meditative state without one falling asleep.

Dynamic Meditations

For most people it is not easy to sit silently and not let their minds wander in a hundred directions. Hence the sages have devised numerous ways to help one achieve a meditative state. One such meditation technique involving music and movement is generally referred to as Dynamic Meditation. Try the 1-hour meditation to achieve a higher state of awareness.

Chakra Healing Meditations

As per the Yoga tradition, the chakras are confluences of Nadis or energy channels of prana in the energy body. They radiate prana to the various parts of the body. When energy becomes blocked in a chakra, it triggers physical, mental, or emotional imbalances that manifest in symptoms such as anxiety, lethargy, or poor digestion. When the chakras function properly a person will live to the best of his or her potential, physically, psychologically and emotionally.

The first five chakras are associated with the physical elements earth, water, fire, air, and ether (or space). The last two chakras connect us beyond the earthly realm, so they are associated with the elements of light and cosmic energy. Meditating on a particular chakra can heal the problems associated with that chakra. Proper functioning of chakras overall will lead to good health, dynamism, increased creativity, etc. with a tangible, empowering ripple effect on one’s life.

Forest Bathing

Mother Nature heals! Just being among natural surroundings can have a very positive impact on your health. At Auranya, we have numerous beautiful spots that one can walk down to and just sit there and relax. The key to unlocking the power of the forest is in the five senses. Let nature enter through your ears, eyes, nose, mouth, hands and feet. Take your time! Listen to the bird sounds and the rustling of leaves in the gentle breeze. Look at the various colors of the trees and the sunlight filtering through them. This has a relaxing effect and helps in lowering the blood pressure. Smell the earthy fragrance of the forest. Inhaling the aromatic compounds from plants can increase the number of killer white blood cells in the body that support your immune system. Take a deep breath and taste the freshness of air. Feel the grass, the leaves and the tree trunk with your hands. Drink in all the flavors of the forest and let calm and joy sink into you. From here, activating your sixth sense is within easy reach! Once you have connected with nature you have crossed the bridge to happiness and bliss. Following this up with a session of Yoga and meditation and breathing exercises will work wonders for you.
